THE BASICS OF CODING FOR WEB DESIGN

The roles of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and how they relate to the front-end and back-end of web design

HTML is primarily responsible for defining the structure and content of the user interface that users interact with in their web browsers and serves as the output or result of server-side processes that generate dynamic content. CSS on the other hand defines styles such as colours, and positioning to create visually appealing and consistent designs and allows front-end developers to customize the look and feel of HTML elements and ensure consistency across different devices and screen sizes. JavaScript is a high-level programming language used to add interactivity, behaviour, and functionality to web pages. JavaScript can be used on both the front-end and back-end to create dynamic and interactive web applications.
